Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
1. Overview
VirtueForge (the “Application”) is designed with a privacy-first approach. We believe that your personal data, philosophical reflections, and character audits belong solely to you. The Application operates on a local-first basis.
2. Information Collection and Use
- Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or account creation.
- Application Data: All your logs, faults, progress, and settings are stored locally on your device’s internal storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible by us.
- Server Communication: The Application connects to our server exclusively to fetch and update Stoic quotes and library texts. During this process, no user-specific identifiers or personal journal data are transmitted or saved on our servers.
3. Third-Party Services
The Application does not use any third-party analytics, tracking tools, or advertising networks that collect your information.
4. Data Security
Because all your journal data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data depends entirely on the security of your device. We recommend securing your device with a passcode or biometric authentication.
5. Children’s Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because we do not create accounts or collect identifiers, we do not process children’s personal data.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Since we do not collect your contact details, we cannot notify you personally. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
